Premise: An Aaron Spelling-produced fantasy about sisters — Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) — who happen to be witches (good witches, of course), living in the eerie San Francisco house where they grew up.

What to expect this season: After a highly publicized exit, Shannen Doherty is Charmed no more. The season begins with Prue's funeral. Rose McGowan joins as Paige, who turns out to be the half sister Piper and Phoebe never knew.
